Lucy Olsen

#33 | Washington Mystics

Just a girl living out her dream.

From packed gyms to pro arenas, Lucy’s journey has been nothing short of electric. After a standout college basketball career with the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Villanova Wildcats, Lucy officially went pro in 2025. She now brings her game to the biggest stage, suiting up as a guard for the Washington Mystics in the WNBA.

She’s also repped the red, white, and blue as a proud member of the USA U24 team in the FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series — because why stop at one court?

A Pennsylvania native, Lucy was a certified problem at Spring-Ford High School. She shattered school records for career points and assists, earned First-Team All-State honors twice, and was crowned Miss Pennsylvania Basketball in 2021. Oh — and just for fun? She also won a State Championship in Tennis her senior year, proving tennis is fun too.

On the international stage, Lucy keeps stacking hardware, capturing a WNBL Championship and taking home 6th Woman of the Year honors in the 2026 WNBL.

Off the court, Lucy brings the same energy — with a love for fashion, family, and inspiring young athletes to dream big and go even bigger.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Whenever I had free time, I would just go outside and dribble around in the driveway. I never got sick of it and I never thought I was working out.

It was just for fun.
